«My name is Doris Baez and I am Mapuche Lafkenche. My story begins as a child when I saw the loom where an artisan lamgen. From there I was always interested in learning the technique of the loom, I looked for old artisans but only shared the knowledge with their family, until I met a friend who taught me the technique of the loom. Then I went to Santiago for several years and when I returned I joined a work workshop with which I perfected myself, until becoming a monitor of new entrepreneurs. Then I applied to a project to have my own store and it was accepted, and it is to which I invite you to visit, here you will find traditional fabrics with Mapuche iconography and with innovation, both in clothing and decoration items. «

r Textil», is an enterprising woman who is dedicated to the production and confection of «Souvenir», Mapuche textile crafts, in different types of looms. His entrepreneurship arises through the interest to learn the traditional loom when he was around 7 years old because the technique is not native to his family.
